DESCRIPTION:The Paris Air Show (Salon international de l’aéronautique et de l’espace\, Paris-Le Bourget) is the world’s oldest and largest air show. Established in 1909\, it is currently held every odd year at Le Bourget Airport in north Paris. \nSince its launch\, the Show has been at the very heart of developments in the global aerospace market\, for which it has become the most important meeting place over the years. Open to professionals and the general public alike\, it inspires a large number of vocations. \nThe Paris Air Show is organised by the French aerospace industry’s primary representative body\, the Groupement des industries françaises aéronautiques et spatiales GIFAS. According to GIFAS\, the 2013 Paris show attracted 139\,273 professional visitors\, including 2\,215 exhibitors from 44 countries\, 176\,299 members of the general public\, and 3\,100 journalists from 80 countries.
