DESCRIPTION:The GSMA Mobile World Congress is a combination of the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry and a conference featuring prominent executives representing mobile operators\, device manufacturers\, technology providers\, vendors and content owners from across the world. The event\, initially named as GSM World Congress and later renamed as the 3GSM World Congress\, is still often referred to as 3GSM or 3GSM World. \nThe GSMA Mobile World Congress usually takes place in February but occasionally the show occurs the first week of March in the Fira Gran Via venue in Barcelona\, Catalonia\, Spain. Annual attendance is generally between 80\,000-90\,000 people. Up until 2006 the event took place in Cannes and was known as 3GSM World. Attendees represent more than 200 countries from across the globe. \n

These events usually include themed networking breakfasts and luncheons\, an opening cocktail party\, the MIPIM Awards ceremony\, and dedicated meetings.

DESCRIPTION:MIPTV (Marché International des Programmes de Télévision) is an event which takes place annually in Cannes\, using the facilities and infrastructure which the town has developed over the years to host other important events such as the Cannes Film Festival. \nIt is essentially a content market for co-producing\, buying\, selling\, financing and distributing entertainment content. It provides the people involved in the TV\, film\, digital and audiovisual content\, production and distribution industry a market conference and networking forum to discover future trends and trade content rights on a global level. \nThis event is very closely related to the MIPCOM event\, but retains its distinct focus. The MIPCOM event takes place in the same venue in October each year. \nSince 2010 MIPTV launched MIPFormats\, “the pre-MIPTV formats conference & pitching showcase”\, that gathers producers\, commissioners\, buyers\, distributors and aspiring creators of breakthrough formats. \nMIPDoc is where international buyers\, sellers\, producers and commissioners of documentary and factual programmes screen new content and do business. MIPDoc calls itself “the international showcase for documentary screenings”.

SUMMARY:Hannover Messe
DESCRIPTION:The Hannover Messe is the world’s biggest industrial fair. It is held on the Hannover fairground in Hannover\, Germany. Typically\, there are about 6\,500 exhibitors and 250\,000 visitors. \nThe Hannover Messe started in 1947 in an undamaged factory building in Laatzen\, south of Hannover\, by an arrangement of the British military government in order to boost the economic advancement of post-war Germany. The first fair was colloquially known as Fischbrötchenmesse (Fischbrötchen fair) due to the exemptions in food rationing for the fair at this time. It proved hugely successful and was hence repeated on a yearly basis\, contributing largely to the success of the Hannover fairground in replacing the then-East German city of Leipzig as the new major fair city for West Germany. \nIn the 1980s\, the growing information and telecommunication industry forced the organizer Deutsche Messe AG to split the fair. The CeBIT is a successful spin-off of the Hannover Messe. \nNowadays\, the Hannover Fair covers all areas of industrial technology.
